Microblading is a process that involves micro-scratches done by disposable tiny, fine–point needles that attached to a blade and a handle. Selected colour pigment is applied immediately to the fine linear wound which gets deposited to the upper region of the dermis. Microblading is generally used on eyebrows to create, enhance or reshape their appearance in terms of both shape and colour for a better-desired effect.
The microblading procedure is semi-permanent. It can fade depending on multiple factors including quality of pigment, UV exposure, and certain medications. Microblading is hence a semi-permanent secret to faking a fuller eyebrow that looks totally natural and is a hassle-free solution to spending hours in penciling your eyebrow to get the desired shape and feel.
Microblading Process
Microblading process is very precise and is performed using a tool that is used which is effectively like a pen with a nib being a sloped blade with 10 -12 little needles at the end. These are special needles that don’t penetrate the skin but just scratch the surface. The needle very finely implants feather stroke with medical grade pigment on the dermal layer of the skin, creating firm, realistic, and natural hair stroke.
An aesthetician uses a microblade tool to apply colour pigment that looks like real hairs. The colour will fade over time so touch up may be necessary to maintain the desired look. The initial procedure may take up to a couple of hours and the eyebrow will appear darker immediately after the initial procedure.
