Hair fall can affect the scalp and it can be temporary or permanent. It can be hereditary due to hormonal changes, medical conditions, or a normal part of aging. Anyone can lose hair on their head, but it’s more common in men.
Baldness typically refers to excessive hair loss from your scalp. Hereditary hair loss with age is the most common cause of baldness. Some people prefer to let their hair loss run its course untreated and unhidden. Others may cover it up with hairstyles, makeup, hats, or scarves. And still, others choose one of the treatments available to prevent further hair loss or restore growth.
Hair loss can appear in many different ways, depending on what’s causing it. It can come on suddenly or gradually and affect your scalp.
Hair Fall - Causes
People typically lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. This usually isn’t noticeable because new hair is growing at the same time. Hair loss occurs when new hair doesn’t replace the hair that has fallen out.

- Gradual thinning on top of the head.
This is the most common type of hair loss, affecting people as they age. In men, hair often begins to recede at the hairline on the forehead. Women typically have a broadening of the part in their hair. - Sudden loosening of hair.
A physical or emotional shock can cause hair to loosen. Handfuls of hair may come out when combing or washing your hair or even after gentle tugging. This type of hair loss usually causes overall hair thinning but is temporary.
- Circular or patchy bald spots.
Some people lose hair in circular or patchy bald spots on the scalp, beard, or eyebrows.
HAIR FALL / LOSS TREATMENT

Growth factor with PRP injections is a proven hair loss treatment that can regenerate and promote hair growth for men and women by using your own platelet-rich plasma with growth factors to target areas of hair loss. It regenerates and repairs your damaged hair follicle by injecting growth factors.
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy for hair loss is a three-step medical treatment in which a person’s blood is drawn, processed, and then injected into the scalp. PRP contains a range of growth factors and proteins. Platelets promote cell growth and regeneration. As the term “platelet-rich plasma” suggests, platelets are generally about five times more concentrated in PRP than in regular blood. This concentration of platelets is useful because platelets secrete growth factors that promote hair growth
When it comes to hair loss, the theory is that platelets, injected deep into the scalp to reach the bottom of the hair follicle, may stimulate a specialized population of cells named dermal papilla cells, which play a critical role in hair growth.
3. PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)
Withdraw 8.5 ml blood and centrifuge it so that only the enriched cells or platelets (PRP) remain. The PRP or highly concentrated Platelet Rich Plasma, including essential growth proteins, is injected into the scalp or areas to be treated using a special microneedle.
When injected, gets to work in the bulge region of our hair follicles – this area is home to most of the hair follicles’ stem cells. The addition of growth factors from the plasma helps stimulate activity and promote new hair growth.
Growth factors present in PRP stimulate stem cells of hair follicles in the scalp to develop new hair follicles and improve the thickness of the existing follicles.
4. LOW LEVEL LASER THERAPY
The red light wavelength of the spectrum from a laser can stimulate cells within the follicle, encouraging hair growth. The energy of the low-level lasers is delivered directly to the scalp. It promotes cellular metabolism by increasing blood circulation and oxygen to the hair follicles. This in turn stimulates hair in the resting phase (telogen) to the growth phase (anagen). LLLT works for anybody who has just started to notice hair loss to anyone who is suffering from hair loss. It is ideal to have LLLT for hair growth twice a week.
